Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez | Netflix
Various reports and studies show that the mental health concept is muffled amongst man. This documentary just proves it and although I think this concept doesn’t excuse the fact that Aaron committed horrible crimes, the behavior that led to his final decision relies a lot on his mental health issues, I think. Worth watching!

The Adam Project | Netflix
A time-travel adventure type of movie starring Ryan Reynolds and directed by Shawn Levy. It’s a relaxing sci-fi comedy. I’d easily rate it as a 9 out of 10.

Nightmare Alley | Disney +
A movie about a man who builds is own fate and becomes a “poor soul at the end. This psychological thriller surpassed my expectations and it was brilliantly delivered by Bradly Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Willem Dafoe and Rooney Mara. Full of plot twists and unpredictable.

Windfall | Netflix
A thriller filmed with wide shots and long takes. The whole scenario is very simple due to shooting during the pandemic. Up until the middle of the movie I thought the plot was a bit cliché but there were a couple of events that turned out to be very intense, suspenseful and unexpected. I really liked the dramatic and tense scenes although some of the comedy speeches could’ve been avoided. The cast’s faces are really well-known: Jason Segel, Lilly Collins and Jesse Plemons.

The Devil All The Time | Netflix
“Unholy preachers, crooked lawmen and murderous lovers.” In a very small town, everyone is a sinner but only one man tries to seek justice. An incredible thriller directed by António Campos. The cast is 10/10: Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Riley Keough and Bill Skarsgård.

Cherry | Apple TV+
An emotional story about a young man who dropped out of college to be an army medic in Iraq and his life when he returns from the War. The movie addresses topics such as PTSD, depression and the entering in the world of drugs as a result of traumatic events. In my opinion, Tom Holland’s acting skills are vividly good and fully seen in this movie. He plays his role perfectly! I highly recommend it, although it is a very touching drama.

Don't Look Up | Netflix
A brilliant movie that I was postponing because of the “bad reviews” I kept seeing on Twitter. I’m glad I ended up watching it. It describes perfectly the reactions of different people (politicians, entrepreneurs, scientists and communities) to a catastrophic environmental disaster. Which can be easily associated to our reality: those who continuously deny that global warming and climate change are not real and also, the US government who doesn’t act accordingly, boosting a growing wave of people who deny science, especially among the so-called Republicans. Also, I really enjoyed the comedy scenes, not because they were funny but because it showed how powerful people can be extremely ignorant and insensitive to urgent matters. 10/10

Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey | Netflix
Incredibly shocking! A sad story of how the Leader of a Fundamentalist Mormon Church allowed polygamy and underage marriage.
