A Swedish show based on real events. It tells us the story of a group of girls who get involved in constant and escalating robberies of luxury homes. It's a very entertaining show, all the main characters are quite likable, and the last episode was an absolute twist!

Let me start by saying that this is a TV Show starring Rob Lowe! (and his actual son). It’s a workplace comedy and a very light-watch show about a young adult who keeps trying to “save” his very PECULIAR biotech CEO father and his company from literal tragedy.

And who doesn’t a love a good Portuguese drama? It’s not only because I’m Portuguese, but I must give this show a 10/10. If you are into thriller & (slightly) dark humor vibe with a lot of profanity, I really recommend you to watch this. Also, it’s really interesting to say that the story is actually part real, so that spices things up. I must add: amazing story, photography, writing, landscapes, actors and director. Initial plot: “When a boat loaded with cocaine sinks off his home island, Eduardo sees a risky but exciting opportunity to make money and fulfill impossible dreams.”

It’s an Australian TV Show so, there’s that! It’s definitely a must-see show! Incredible writing and good acting. The show overall has a great mixture of comedy, tragedy and life lessons. Basically it started with a women struggling in her late 30’s plot, but then there’s surprises with unexpected twists, LEWD jokes and a whole “heart-warming journey to self-discovery and life long friendships”. Hope there’s a season 2 incoming!

Name ONE bad British TV Series. (You can’t!) Well, this one is no exception. An absolutely incredible British drama - it is not your average TV Cop / Mistery Show. This is an art combination of the protagonist's manic and depressive personality, along with the created ambiance of darkness, the music and the scenarios. All of these elements have created an atmosphere that was almost too sordid to watch. (Anna Friel played the main role exceptionally.) It is profoundly disturbing. Long story short: “Set in Rosenfeldt's unique style of Nordic Noir, the body of a missing child is discovered inside a wall and a task-force is assembled to catch the killer. A complex set of characters from all walks of life and interweaving storylines will take viewers on a dark and emotional journey with turns at every corner.”

Wow. What a great show! Season 1 introduces us to how the FBI created the Behavioral Sciences Department (which then lead to the development of tools to be used whilst performing criminal analysis and profiling based on psychological traits via interviews with serial killers - based on real events). Season 2 gave me mixed feelings (although to me it was better than the first one) only because they cut the potential of some of the cast members of Season 1, however they focused on how the FBI came up with endless ways to catch the most terrifying serial killer - The Atlanta Boogeyman. Plus, I really liked the scenic 20-seconds-hints given in the beginning of each episode regarding a totally different serial killer from Kansas. Overall it’s alarming knowing that those events indeed happened irl which of course made the series exponentially interesting, but still disturbing.

Dead End | Netflix

This is the first Polish 🇵🇱 TV Show I’ve ever watched… and it is incredible. The plot: “A group of people sharing a ride to Czechia 🇨🇿 accidentally switches cars with a bank robber, who then pursues them to retrieve the stolen money he left in the trunk”. Obviously there’s more to that but I won’t spoil you. Dead End manages to be funny yet very dark in places (perhaps disturbing). Each episode has twists and turns and the series ends on a cliff hanger. I wouldn’t say I am craving for a Part 2 as I believe it had a flawlessly ending. (Plus: I really loved the visuals)

The Lincoln Lawyer | Netflix

I have to say: I really had a good time watching The Lincoln Lawyer. It lays down on this lucky lawyer named Mickey Haller who takes over a successful practice after the lawyer in charge is murdered and leaves his entire practice including all his clients to Haller. This is just the premises because from there on, the story develops in a very hardcore manner throughout the first season whilst he takes over smaller cases. Season two, however, it’s much more personal to this lawyer therefore more dramatic with a crazy twist at the end. I should also add that some of the outcomes are a bit over the line, in my opinion. Although I’ve always heard that no fiction surpasses reality…
