Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez | Netflix

Various reports and studies show that the mental health concept is muffled amongst man. This documentary just proves it and although I think this concept doesn’t excuse the fact that Aaron committed horrible crimes, the behavior that led to his final decision relies a lot on his mental health issues, I think. Worth watching!

‎The Strange Death of Europe

Currently reading this book… It has been making me reflect a lot about how Europe has been, indeed, digging its own grave. Several important topics are mentioned, like birth-rates, failure of multiculturalism but more importantly: migration. Migration and the religious matter attached to it. Very interesting so far as I feel it’s an eye-opener for many situations that have been happening in the continent.

Ratched | Netflix

I have just watched the entire show! It gave me some "Bates Motel" vibes but slightly better. An splendid series with great acting, great story and great visuals. The events happen back in 1947 and the whole series incorporates politics, morality, religion, addiction, sexuality... many layers that create the monsters inside human beings. I really hope there’s a season 2.

What is economic value, and who creates it? | Mariana Mazzucato TedX Talk

I have been a follower of this economist for a long time. I like her ideas and the fact the she works directly with policymakers in order to make them understand better the global economy. In this TedX Talk she talks about how and why we should reshape our current financial system which ideally would lead to a more innovative and sustainable concept of capitalism.

‎Acquired | Apple Podcasts

A podcast which on each episode the hosts (Ben Gilbert & David Rosenthal) talk about a certain company (e.g NFL, Amazon, Walmart, Meituan) pointing out the company’s backstories and their “playbook” with tips that made them as successful as they are today. It’s more of an informative podcast, so nothing related to stocks investment advices.

Freakonomics

Just wow! An economics book but with a sociological perspective. Facts proven by numbers and unimaginably realistic analogies are stated in a this great book written by Stephen J. Dubner and Steven D. Levitt. 10/10
