Van de makers van Dark (ook een tip trouwens). ‘1899’ is ook weer zo’n donkere suspense, waarbij de kijker vanaf het begin voelt dat er iets niet klopt en de makers dat gevoel op Hitchcockiaanse wijze over het seizoen uitsmeren.
