Ellis Hamburger werkte jaren bij Snapchat, hopende dat ze daar de belofte “hier doen we het anders” echt waar gingen maken.

Dat gebeurde niet:

Wow. Bij een studie van Groenlandse haaien uit 2016 werd met een nieuwe techniek geschat dat 1 exemplaar 392 jaar oud was (+/- 120 jaar). Die is dus geboren tussen 1504 en 1744.

De dieren hebben een mythische status in Inuit-culturen. Ze groeien slechts één centimeter per jaar

en hebben een heel traag metabolisme. Ook de kou helpt volgens de onderzoekers mee:
