I knew that killing weeds with lasers was becoming a thing (much better that herbicides!) but this machine is pretty advanced. And no reason why it couldn't become much cheaper.

"More than 90% of rainforest carbon offsets by biggest provider are worthless" It was always dubious to me that you could become carbon neutral by not cutting down forests, but it's worse than I feared.

Scientists thought carbon emissions had peaked. They’ve never been higher.

Three things are true: 1) We have the technology to make emissions go down quickly, and doing so is not only good for the planet but increases our wealth.😍 2) We are bending the emission curve downward.😍 3) We should bend the curve MUCH faster as this article shows 😭😭

Good new article about gas from Groningen that explains how irrational the choice to avoid production at any cost has become. You might need to translate from Dutch but I think it's important that foreigners understand it and talk sense into our leaders.
